10 Numbers Behind OVRLND's 1986 Toyota Pickup and Pit Bike Giveaway

Ten figures from the rules and the giveaway page: model year, tire size, engine size, mail-in entries and more. Entries close December 3.

Giveaway pages are full of adjectives. Numbers are easier to check. Here are ten of them from OVRLND's Toyota pickup and pit bike giveaway, each one taken from the Official Rules or the giveaway page, with a plain note on what it does and does not tell you.

Number 1One Grand Prize

There is a single Grand Prize and a single winner. The truck, the pit bike and the cash all belong to that one prize, so nothing is split among several people. Per the rules, the odds depend on how many eligible entries arrive.

Number 21986

That is the model year of the Toyota. The full name on the giveaway page is the 1986 Toyota Pickup XtraCab SR5 4WD. The page says it went through a frame-off restoration, which means the body was taken off the chassis.

Number 322R-E

This is the engine code, and the page says the engine is original, fuel injected and thoroughly serviced. It is not a measurement, just a code.

Number 431 inches

The tires are listed as 31-inch Mickey Thompson tires, on wheels finished in black and chrome. The page also lists a factory stock-style ride height.

Number 5Three stages

The exterior got a three-stage repaint in Factory White. The page adds a color-matched spray-in bedliner.

Number 6140cc

The pit bike is a Buscadero BSX 140. The 140cc figure is the engine size. The page does not give horsepower or a top speed, so it would be a mistake to read either into it.

Number 7Four speeds

The bike has a four-speed manual gearbox, a manual clutch, electric start and discs at both ends. That is four forward gears picked by the rider, with no automatic option on the list.

Number 8The cash award

The cash award is $15,000. It is a prize component, not a discount and not a credit toward anything. Taxes on the prize fall to the winner, and the rules say an IRS Form 1099 will be filed in the winner's name for the value of the prize.

Number 9$94,000

This is the Approximate Retail Value of the entire Grand Prize, truck, bike and cash together. The rules call it the Sponsor's good-faith determination. If the actual value comes in lower when the prize is procured, the difference is not awarded.

Number 10100

Each free mailed card received counts as 100 entries. Hand-print your name, mailing address, phone number, date of birth and email on a 3" x 5" card or paper, then mail it in a #10 envelope with proper postage. One card per envelope. The rules do not allow bulk shipments.

The fine print, in plain EnglishHow entering works

Members are entered automatically. An active OVRLND membership includes automatic entry into every OVRLND giveaway, alongside the other member benefits.

Anyone can enter for free. Mail a hand-printed 3" x 5" card as described in the Official Rules. Each mail-in entry received is worth 100 entries. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 3, 2026 and received by December 8, 2026.

Paying never improves your odds. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning, and odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Common questions

Is the $15,000 included in the $94,000?

Yes. The rules give $94,000 as the ARV of the whole Grand Prize, which they define as the truck, the pit bike and the cash award.

Does a 140cc engine mean a certain speed?

No. It is an engine size. The giveaway page gives no speed figure.

Why 100 entries for a mail-in card?

That is the count in the Official Rules for each mail-in entry received. It is a fixed number per card.

Do I owe anything if I win?

The rules make the winner responsible for taxes and for registration and licensing of the automobile. See the Official Rules for the full list.

Who can enter?

Legal US residents who are 18 or older (or of age in their state) when they enter. Void where prohibited.
